Theory will only take you so far — The Los Alamos Laboratory

Set in the tense post-WWII climate of 1946, this crisis committee explores the global implications of leaked Manhattan Project files falling into hostile hands. With multiple nations racing to weaponize nuclear technology, the threat of worldwide nuclear war looms large. Delegates must uncover the source of the leak, assess the extent of proliferation, and develop countermeasures to maintain U.S. and global security. Key topics include nuclear deterrence, non-proliferation protocols, ethical applications of nuclear science, and international cooperation. Delegates will also work to support nations destabilized by nuclear fallout and engage in high-level diplomacy to ease rising tensions. Prepare for a fast-paced, multi-front crisis where each decision could shape the fate of the world.
