Theory will only take you so far — The Los Alamos Laboratory

It’s WW2. Hitler has invaded Europe, and the Soviets and Japanese are taking over major parts of Europe and the Pacific respectively. In any moment, the world as we know it can change through large-scale attacks. To demonstrate its power, the United States created the Los Alamos project, a collection of top scientists to work on the atomic bomb. The pressure is on to create a working bomb before the enemies do. Will the many scientists and government officials involved in this project be able to push past the social, political, moral, and scientific pressures to successfully complete their task? Or, will they succumb to the alarming internal and external stresses during this unpredictable time. Join this committee to find out whether or not the reality we currently live in is the one that will truly exist.
