Meet the Team Behind DMUNC XXIII
Secretary General: Brody Andrews
Brody Andrews is a fourth year Cinema and Digital Media and History double major and is in his 7th year of Model UN. He is so excited to be the Secretary General of his fourth DMUNC, he has previously held positions as Director General of DMUNC XXII, the Crisis Director of the Muppets committee at DMUNC XXI and the Rebels side of the Star Wars JCC at DMUNC XX. When he’s not doing Model UN, you can find him doing stand up comedy as part of the UC Davis Stand Up Comedy Club.
Director General: Mae Tyson
Mae Tyson is a third year Environmental Policy, Analysis, and Planning major. This is Mae’s third year of DMUNC of Model UN, previously she was the USG of General Assembly at DMUNC XXII and Head Chair of the Muppets Crisis Committee at DMUNC XXI. Outside of helping run the conference, Mae loves to go social dancing and crochet with her friends.
USG of Delegate Services & Chief of Staff: Henry Rosenbach
Henry Rosenbach is a third-year Economics major at UC Davis, focused on how institutions shape everyday life. Growing up between Brazil and Europe gave him an early awareness of how policy shows up in ordinary things like housing, buses, and electricity bills, which led him to campus work at the intersection of student housing, transit reliability, and energy policy. He has been involved in speech, debate, and Model UN since high school and has stayed for the friends, the late-night prep, and the chance to argue about history for fun. Outside of MUN, you can usually find Henry exploring cities, overanalyzing public transit systems, hunting for good coffee, or reading about war and urban history.
USG of Crisis: Carolina Fonseca
Carolina Fonseca is a second year International Relations and Spanish double major, minoring in Human Rights. She is incredibly excited to serve as your DMUNC XXIII USG of Crisis. MUN has played such an amazing part of her undergraduate career and she is so excited for everyone to see what’s in store this year. She loves to rock climb, try new matcha locations, and you can always catch her listening to Charli XCX.
USG of General Assemblies: Viveka Smith
Viveka Smith is a third year Art History and Biochemistry double major. She joined Model UN in spring of last year, assisting in DMUNC XXII as a Crisis Staffer for The Tudor Divorce. Public speaking and diplomacy have always been an interest of hers, and getting to explore it further has been an incredible journey. She is elated to be assisting in DMUNC XXIII, and looks forward to making this an enjoyable experience. In her off-time she likes playing music, particularly singing or bass guitar!
