DMUNC XXI

The Cuban Revolution JCC – Castro’s Rebels

Committee Description

It is 1957, Fidel Castro and his allies have just arrived at their hiding place in the thickly forested mountain range of the Sierra Maestra in Cuba. From here, you will begin your revolution against the regime of Fulgencio Batista. In this crisis committee, delegates will play the roles of Castro’s allies as they attempt to overthrow President Batista and bring forward a new Cuba. Delegates will have to use their unique skill sets in both the front and back rooms to work together to lead a successful revolution against the Batista government. They will be competing against Batista’s Loyalists to usher in their vision of a new Cuba. Venceremos, Viva la Cuba!
